Since 1981, the Frontino, Montefeltro National Culture Prize has brought writers, artists, and leading figures of Italian culture to the village.

Conceived by Carlo Bo and Antonio Mariani, this unique event honors works and projects that have left a significant mark on literature, art, and thought.

The award ceremony, held in the evocative setting of the Montefiorentino Monastery, is accompanied by moments of reflection and dialogue, turning Frontino into an open-air cultural center.

The Prize is divided into the following Sections:

  • “Literature as Life” Section
  • “Culture of Montefeltro” Section
  • “Antonio Mariani for School Experimentation” Section
  • “Human Diversity” Section, curated by Gruppo Atena SRL
  • “Environment” Section, curated by the Sasso Simone e Simoncello Park Authority
  • “Personality” Section
