Guided MTB Tour from Pietrarubbia to Macerata Feltria
The ride begins in the heart of Pietrarubbia, a medieval village suspended between rock and sky, with a short scenic stop at the foot of the “Devil’s Finger”, the iconic rock formation that marks the start of the adventure. From here, the trail follows a gentle downhill dirt road through oak and chestnut woods, with sudden glimpses of the rolling Montefeltro hills.
The Route
After the first 5 km, the track becomes more technical: a constant sequence of ups and downs alternating between single tracks and farm roads, passing cultivated fields and small rural houses. Along the way, the guide shares local stories and legends, turning every stop into a dive into the culture and memory of the territory.
The final stretch leads towards Macerata Feltria, with a panoramic descent offering spectacular views of the village and the valley. The arrival point is the Mercatale area, gateway to the fortified town: from here, you can continue on foot through alleys, small squares, and artisan workshops.
