Starting point: Ponte Cappuccini, next to the Visitor Center of the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Park. The trail begins along small country lanes that soon turn into mule tracks, surrounded by countryside where the scents of water mint and hawthorn hedges accompany each step.
After a gentle climb, you reach Ca’ Mancino and continue towards Pietrarubbia, a village perched on reddish rock, with its fortress still seeming to watch over the valley.
From here, the path continues along the ridge towards Pietrafagnana, the surprising rock formation known as the “Devil’s Finger”: a natural spectacle that seems to challenge the sky.
The return follows a panoramic dirt road, crossing green pastures and open trails, before reconnecting with the starting point.
